Jeffrey leads the New York studio and brings 25 years of professional experience to his role as a design leader across Woods Bagot’s Global Studio.
Jeffrey’s work spans workplace, lifestyle and education and research sectors and includes numerous landmark buildings in New York City and around the world. His expertise in the design of tall buildings, large-scale, mixed-use urban developments and innovative use of materials and sustainable design strategies has been recognised by various peer groups including the Skyscraper Museum, the British Council on Offices, the Municipal Arts Society of New York and the American Institute of Architects.
Recently, Jeffrey was awarded the President’s Citation at the American Institute of Architects National Convention for contributions to the rebuilding of the World Trade Center.
Jeffrey leads Woods Bagot’s Research Stream in North America. He has presented numerous papers at conferences and panels across the globe including Green Build, the Society of College and University Planning, the Canadian Centre for Architecture, the Council of Educational Facility Planners International and the Center for Architecture in New York City. He recently led the collaboration with a prominent research firm to conduct a survey of 500 elite business decision-makers to evaluate the quality of both recent college graduates and their workspace to gain qualitative understanding of how education and workplace environments are performing.
Currently undertaking projects in New York, India, China and Australia, his projects include a large-scale, mixed-use development and new Four Seasons Hotel and Residences in Noida, India, a 35-storey residential tower in Brooklyn, New York, and a new elementary school also in Brooklyn.
Jeffrey holds a Masters degree in Architectural History, Theory and Criticism from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelors of Architecture degree from Cornell University. He has taught and lectured extensively and his work has been widely published.
