James joined Woods Bagot in 2009 to head the new transportation and institutional sectors and is Director of Public Institutional & Transportation. He has significant expertise in the design and management of major complex projects, drawn from over 25 years experience across the design and construction industry with Board level experience in large private and publicly-listed companies.
He has designed award winning buildings, delivered the design for two multi billion pound projects in the UK, and led winning design teams for one of the world’s largest construction companies.
James has a proven track record in the efficient design and delivery of excellent, sustainable buildings that meet the needs of the stakeholders. He has achieved this through strong design leadership, a deep understanding of the technology and logistics of construction and integrated thinking across the supply chain.
Having been a member of significant international competition juries, James is a frequent conference speaker and critic.
