Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Centre has been awarded the coveted Five Star award for Public Service Architecture at this year's Asia Pacific Property Awards.
Now in their 18th year, the awards celebrate the highest levels of achievement in property and the real estate industry across Asia. Announced in Kuala Lumpur on 27 April, the Asia Pacific Property Awards were run in association with HSBC Bank and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Asia.
"We are incredibly proud to have taken home the highest Five Star award in Public Service Architecture with this project, showcasing Woods Bagot’s breadth of design excellence in Asia,” said Vince Pirrello, Executive Chairman, Asia.
"The project represents an important urban renewal of a high profile site within Shijiazhuang that will work to stimulate and revitalise an under-developed part of the city," said Vince.
"Woods Bagot's guiding value proposition is to create an active precinct combined with first class international civic architecture that will engage with both the community and the environment and showcase Shijiazhuang to the world."
The project is a collaboration between Woods Bagot's Beijing, London, New York, San Francisco, Sydney and Hong Kong studios [find out more about the project here].
