‘'The project has been an outstanding result. Staff once in opposition are now evangelists. Our clients consistently comment on the stunning spaces which I attribute to the entire concept being carefully considered and consulted with the practice.’’
- Cornelius Medvei, Eversheds LLP London Senior Partner
In creating a UK headquarters for international law firm Eversheds LLP, Woods Bagot was set the challenge of delivering a workplace that would both attract and retain the best and brightest of the legal industry.
Capturing the essence of a 21st century workplace, Eversheds LLP embodies both progressive and traditional corporate values, providing service-driven support facilities for staff, luxurious business lounges for clients and visitors and lifestyle-inspired team spaces.
Flexibility was a major driver, so an innovative ‘hybrid studio’ approach was designed for all fee earner spaces. We have planned for 780 staff to occupy the building over seven levels with the infrastructure capacity to reach 1,200 when Eversheds LLP implement new ways of working.
The building has been uprated from BREEAM ‘Very Good’ to ‘Excellent’ for sustainability - the first time that rating has been elevated via the fitout. Eversheds has also achieved:
British Council for Offices (BCO)
Corporate Workplace, Award Winner
CoreNet Global Sustainable Leadership
Design/Architecture – Commercial, Award Winner
BusinessWeek/Architectural Record
"Good Design is Good Business" Award Winner
