City Central Tower 2, Adelaide 
 
   


Tower 2 of the City Central precinct is a landmark 13 storey commercial building located on the corner of King William Street and Waymouth Street. Designed to meet the ‘A-Grade’ requirements as established by the Property Council of Australia, Tower 2 will offer approximately 12,500 m2 of NLA (nett lettable area). It will comprise basement car parking, ground floor retail and 12 upper levels.

Whilst similar to Tower 1 in many aspects, the southern elevation of Tower 2 will be markedly different in that it will feature a series of ‘Pods’ designed to cantilever south to provide exceptional office space with stunning views to City Central Plaza and the Adelaide Hills beyond.

Tower 2 builds upon the knowledge gained through the Tower 1 process. As a consequence the process has become more streamlined.

The subsequent stages of City Central will include a refurbishment of the historic GPO and Electra House, as well as further vibrant retail, commercial and hospitality developments.

The building utilises the latest ESD technology and has been designed to achieve a Five Star Green Star Rating as well as a Five Star NABERs energy rating. Features include chilled beams for cooling, low water use fixtures, low energy use lighting all designed to create a healthier environment as well as high performance facades tailored to suit views and orientation.
