Cesaria Resort on the Cape Verde island of São Vicente, will be a resort within a huge 3200 acre site. Located off the western coast of Africa, the site comprises four distinct valleys separated by rugged mountains.

The main beach links three of the four valleys and is powerful and bracing. Salt water lagoons will form part of the design approach.

The resort will accommodate five hotels, beachside restaurants and bars and a large residential component. A variety of units will comprise hillside terraced villas, village houses and oasis villas. The goal of the project is to achieve sustainability on three key fronts; social, economic and environmental sustainability.

Cesaria resort aims to complement the vibrant capital of Mindelo by avoiding over urbanisation, and offering a resort experience that does not compete with the cultural richness of Mindelo, also offering employment opportunities for Cape Verdians.
