This project involved the extension of the existing facility to include a new laboratory wing. Woods Bagot created a modular extendable building (limited to two storeys) which included a modern layout of lab spaces (generic), and a centralised and separated services spine for flexibility of lab planning and services access.

A high degree of natural light with control designed sunshading and views was achieved by placing offices on the perimeter while glazed partitions separate the laboratories inboard. The building finishes are durable and low maintenance.
