Andrew has been Chairman of Woods Bagot for a period totalling 8 years. His association with Woods Bagot followed a series of consultancy assignments he undertook in the early 1990s for the firm.
Andrew grew up in England and studied Geography at Cambridge University before moving to Australia in 1970. He received a PhD from the University of NSW in 1976 and was an academic until the early 1980s when he became a Management Consultant with Ernst & Young.
As a long time partner with Ernst & Young, Andrew undertook a series of management roles including being head of the Adelaide office, running the National Consultancy practice and the National Tax practice.
Andrew was also a member of Ernst & Young's board for a number of years which included a period as Chairman. Since retiring from the firm last year, Andrew has been engaged in private consulting work in addition to his role as Chairman with Woods Bagot.
Andrew is also Chairman of HPS, a national pharmacy group in Australia and has been a member of various charitable boards in Adelaide including the Burnside Hospital, the Adelaide Hospital, the National Trust of South Australia and Greening Australia.
